Warranty Policy

Our Commitment to Quality

At Easy Fold Murphy Bed, we stand behind the quality and durability of our hardware systems. Our products are designed for long-term use when installed and operated correctly.

Below you’ll find details of what is covered under our warranty.

Lifetime Warranty – Structural Hardware Components

We provide a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on all structural metal components of our Murphy bed hardware system.

This includes:

  • Steel mounting brackets
  • Pivot hardware
  • Structural metal frame components
  • Fixed mechanical hardware supplied in the kit

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use.

Gas Struts (Wear Components)

Gas struts are pressure-assisted moving components and are considered wear items.

Because gas struts naturally lose pressure over time depending on frequency of use, mattress weight, and environmental conditions, they are not covered under the lifetime warranty.

If gas struts require replacement in the future, replacement sets are available for purchase.

If you experience an issue shortly after installation, please contact us so we can assess the situation.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation
  • Improper use or misuse
  • Modifications to the hardware system
  • Use with incorrect mattress weight
  • Damage caused by accidents or external forces
  • Normal wear and tear

Installation Responsibility

Our hardware systems are designed for DIY installation. It is the responsibility of the installer to:

  • Follow the provided instructions
  • Ensure the bed is securely fixed to suitable wall framing
  • Use appropriate fixings for the wall type

Improper installation may void warranty coverage.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe you have a warranty issue:

  • Contact us via email
  • Provide your order number
  • Include clear photos of the issue

We may request additional information to assess the claim.

If the issue is determined to be a manufacturing defect covered under warranty, we will repair or replace the affected component at our discretion.
